Manuel Arturo Chacón Mejía is the founder and owner of Tag Cabo Sportfishing and Cabo Sportfishing Magazine. Since beginning his career in 2009, Arturo has dedicated himself to exploring and promoting the extraordinary sportfishing opportunities found throughout Baja California Sur. As an experienced captain, traveling angler and entrepreneur, he has fished alongside respected captains and anglers across Mexico, always looking to learn new techniques and share the knowledge of the local fishing community. He also serves as Secretario General y Vocal Estatal de Big Game for the Asociación de Pescadores Deportivos Sudcalifornianos. Through Cabo Sportfishing Magazine, Arturo promotes responsible sportfishing, marine conservation, local tournaments, fishing tourism and the people and businesses that make Baja California Sur one of the world’s greatest fishing destinations.
